Chingiz Allazov profile
Chingiz Allazov knocked out Superbon in January 2023 to win the ONE featherweight kickboxing world title and spent two years ranked the best pound-for-pound kickboxer alive. He never lost the belt in the ring — he was stripped of it after seventeen months without a fight.
Born on the border, raised in Minsk
Allazov was born on 10 June 1993 in the village of Jandar in Georgia's Gardabani district, on the Azerbaijani border. His family moved to Minsk, Belarus in 1994.
He started Thai boxing at ten for self-defence under his first coach Alexander Kovtik, and turned professional in 2009 at sixteen.
Twenty-eight straight, and the man who stopped it
He won the 2017 K-1 World GP and the K-1 super welterweight title, defended it against Hinata Watanabe in March 2018, and vacated it in February 2019 after signing with Bellator Kickboxing.
His twenty-eight-fight winning streak, built over four years, was ended by Giorgio Petrosyan at Bellator Kickboxing 10 on 14 July 2018, two judges scoring it 49-45.

A Grand Prix won through Thai fighters
He lost his ONE debut on a split decision to Enriko Kehl in 2021 and never lost again in the promotion. In the Grand Prix quarter-finals he knocked Samy Sana out in 39 seconds with a liver shot, the first man ever to stop him.
Marat Grigorian withdrew from the semi-final with COVID-19 and was replaced by Thailand's Jo Nattawut, whom Allazov knocked out in round one. In the final at ONE X on 26 March 2022 he beat Sitthichai Sitsongpeenong, who had beaten him earlier in their careers.
Stripped without losing
In January 2023 he knocked Superbon out in round two at ONE Fight Night 6 for the world title, a finish named knockout of the year by several kickboxing outlets. Beyond Kickboxing ranked him the world's best pound-for-pound kickboxer from February 2023 to February 2025.
He defended once, over Marat Grigorian at ONE Fight Night 13 in August 2023, then stopped fighting. After a dispute with the promotion and seventeen months of inactivity he was stripped, and Superbon — who had taken the interim belt in April 2024 — was elevated to champion. The title Allazov won by knocking Superbon out went back to Superbon without a rematch.
