Ramadan Ondash profile
Ramadan Ondash is a 19-year-old Muay Thai fighter from Beirut, Lebanon, who fights out of Tiger Muay Thai and is 6-1 in ONE Championship. In September 2026 he was named one of the eight men in the ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Grand Prix.
A gym at home, and a brother who would not let him quit
Ondash was born on 26 October 2006 in Beirut and first stepped onto the mats at three and a half, training in his family's gym alongside his eldest brother, Ahmad. He did not enjoy it at first, but Ahmad refused to let him walk away, and by the age of nine or ten the reluctance had turned into something he chose for himself.
At ten he walked into Tiger Muay Thai for the first time with another older brother, Abdallah, and turned professional the same year. He lost that debut on points to a bigger, far more experienced opponent. He studied in Lebanon until he was sixteen, spent a period in Germany, and returned home in 2023.
Eighty seconds on debut
His ONE Championship debut came in January 2024 at Lumpinee Stadium, where he stopped Thailand's Yangdam Jitmuangnon inside eighty seconds.
At ONE Friday Fights 114 he faced Chartpayak Saksatoon and finished him in the second round, earning a US$100,000 ONE contract before his eighteenth birthday.
One loss, and what came after it
His first main-card appearance, at ONE Fight Night 38, ended in a unanimous-decision loss to Malaysia's Aliff Sor Dechapan, who controlled the rhythm across all three rounds. It remains his only defeat in the promotion.
He answered it with a unanimous decision over Suriyanlek Por Yenying at ONE Friday Fights 156, then took the biggest fight of his career so far.
Beating Johan Ghazali
On 31 July 2026 at ONE Friday Fights 164 he met Johan Ghazali, the Malaysian-American prospect and a former friend turned rival, and took the win after three rounds.
Two months later ONE named him in the eight-man field for the 2026 Flyweight Muay Thai World Grand Prix, which begins in November.
The youngest man in the bracket
The field includes Rodtang Jitmuangnon, with more than 200 career wins, and Nong-O Hama, who is twenty years his senior. Ondash and England's Ubaid Hussain are the youngest fighters in the tournament.
If he wins it, he becomes the first Lebanese fighter to hold a ONE Muay Thai world title. If he does not, he is still only nineteen.
